This ASMedia ASM3042 is the next generation Universal Serial Bus xHCI host controller, bridging PCI Express to USB3.2, compliant with USB3.2 Specification Revision 1.0 and Intel eXtensible Host Controller Interface specification revision 1.1. It also supports backward compatible with legacy USB function and devices, compliant with USB Attach SCSI Protocol revision 1.0, supporting the function of debug port on port A of USB. ASM3042 supports two ports of USB3.2 Gen1 x1 and performs exceptional high speed bandwidth with the support of PCI Express Gen3. The PCIe ASM3042 USB3.2 expansion card application of Desktop PC, Workstations, Servers, etc...
